Community & Technical College Trainings

More than sixty colleges across ten states have hosted Dr. Lane Freeman’s hands-on institutes. Recent audiences include faculty and staff at more than 40 North Carolina community colleges, an AI keynote at Odessa College in Texas, sessions at UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Charlotte, and UNCW, and an EDUCAUSE online course facilitated with Auburn University’s Biggio Center.

Sessions guide faculty through prompt practice, syllabus redesign, and academic-integrity strategies—so campuses can integrate AI responsibly and sustainably. Workshops help faculty and designers create AI-enhanced assessments, interactive modules, and data-informed feedback loops, rooted in the TrAIT Framework (Transparency in AI and Teaching).
